Amy Poe is a theatre director in designer from Washington, DC. She graduated from the University of Virginia with BA degrees in Drama and English. She also received her masters in education from the University of Virginia in 2006. She worked for ten years as a high school theatre teacher in Northern Virginia. She also started her own theatre company called, Little Butterfly Theatre Company. After marrying her husband and moving to Dallas, she attended Southern Methodist University to earn her degree in Stage Design. She currently lives and works in Dallas, Texas.
